If you’re an expert writer who can produce high-quality, 1350+ word guides, we would love to accept your guest post. While we mainly accept toilet-related content only, we sometimes cover other topics within the home.

Before reaching out to us, please read our guidelines.

DO:

  • Write a 1350-word minimum guide/article (Author bio is not needed)
  • Articles must be original and not published anywhere else, online or in print. This includes your personal site.
  • Write the article from authority standpoint: How would you explain the subject to someone who’s looking to learn as much as possible? Use that kind of tone when you curate your content.
  • Include at least one large image. Your photo should be large enough (more than 800×400 px), high-quality, and not be subject to copyright issues. If you are writing a how-to article, one photo will suffice.
  • Think of an article title that grabs a reader’s attention. Ask yourself: how will people feel after they read this piece of content? Does it actually solve my problem?
  • Keep your introduction, preferably less than 200 words (no one likes super long intros). Does the first part of your article make readers want to read more?
  • Provide at least one link to an authoritative source, preferably 2 or more. If you mention a fact or a statistic, make sure to cite the source.
  • You may only place one link to your own website in the article.
  • Avoid promotional information or affiliate links in the post. For those, we charge as a sponsored post since we have to have our editorial write it and mark it as such (for info Email).

DON’T:

  • Write an article just to promote a business, brand, or product (without providing value).
  • Submit spun content only to get placement on our site.
  • Link to a shady product page or cloaked affiliate link. All placements must be normal blogs or sites.

  • Any relevant images for your post. (Send any images as separate files, not pasted into the file/doc.) Send images from Shutterstock or that you own rights to.
